Rust has an in-game console that allows players to run various commands and set specific settings for certain client variables. These variables allow you to enable and configure settings of your game like enabling your FPS counter or binding commands to keys.

Perf
The perf command allows you to show 3 different performance related counters on your screen.
Perf 1
Perf 1 shows just the FPS counter.​​​​

Perf 2 shows the FPS counter and total video memory used.
