Rust Update 126
Posted September 8, 2016 by Rust Blog ‐ 1 min read
This weeks update is pretty light, but makes some improvements to gunplay, buffs bone armor by 10%, and reduces recoil on the semi-auto rifle. There now talk of an underground cave system in the works, which sounds really awesome. Underground Rust is something I have been looking forward to for a while. There are more teasers on the Rust blog about the upcoming changes to the Lighthouse and some more artwork for the player vending machine. There has also been a reduction on the amount of fuel used on miner hats. This must be in preparation for cave spelunking!
Changelog 126
Muzzleflash smoke effect hidden when in ADS
ADS lowers near clip plane (less viewmodel clipping)
Weapon FOV lowered (stubbier guns)
Viewmodel sway is snappier and aims ahead of your look point
Much smaller muzzle flashes
Less bright muzzle flashes
Bone armor buffed 10%
Reduced diminishing xp for finding loot and harvesting
Tracers once again visible in first person
Reduced horizontal recoil of semi auto rifle
Candle/Miner hat use half as much fuel
